Notifier FZM-1 (Zone Interface Module) คือโมดูลรับสัญญาณชนิดที่ต้องมีไฟเลี้ยง (Addressable Module) ทำหน้าที่เชื่อมต่ออุปกรณ์ตรวจจับควันแบบทั่วไป (2-Wire Conventional Detectors) เข้ากับตู้ควบคุมสัญญาณแจ้งเหตุเพลิงไหม้ชนิดที่ระบุตำแหน่งได้ (Addressable Panel) ช่วยให้ตู้ควบคุมรู้สถานะ (ปกติ/แจ้งเหตุ/สายขาด) ของโซนนั้นได้ 

คุณลักษณะ

การทำงาน: เปลี่ยนอุปกรณ์ Conventional แบบ 2 สาย ให้สามารถระบุตำแหน่ง (Address) ได้

การเชื่อมต่อ: รองรับการเดินสายมาตรฐาน Class B (Style B) หรือ Class A (Style D)

สถานะ: มี LED แสดงสถานะการทำงาน (กะพริบเมื่อปกติ, ค้างเมื่อ Alarm)

การตั้งค่า: ใช้สวิตช์แบบหมุน (Rotary Switches) ในการตั้งค่าที่อยู่ (Address) ของโมดูล

มาตรฐาน: มาตรฐาน UL/FM และเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์จากสหรัฐอเมริกา 

การใช้งานหลัก

ใช้เชื่อมต่ออุปกรณ์ตรวจจับควัน (Smoke Detector) หรืออุปกรณ์ตรวจจับความร้อน (Heat Detector) แบบ 2 สาย

ใช้ในกรณีที่ต้องการผสมระบบ Conventional เข้ากับระบบ Addressable 

ข้อควรระวัง
อุปกรณ์ตรวจจับควันที่นำมาต่อกับ FZM-1 ต้องเป็นแบบที่ระบุว่าใช้งานร่วมกันได้ (Compatible) กับโมดูลนี้

FZM-1 (A) Interface Module is intended for us in intelligent, addressable systems, where the individual address of each module is selected using built-in rotary switches. This module allows intelligents panels to interface an monitor two-wire conventional smoke detectors. It transmits the status (normal, open, or alarm) of one full zone of conventional detectors back to the contraol panel. All two-wire detectors being monitored must be UL compatible with the module. The FZM-1(A) can be used to replace MMX-2(A) modules in existing systems

Application:
Use to monitor a zone of two-wire smoke detectors. The monitored circuit may be wired as an NFPA Style B (Class B) or Style D (Class A) Initiating Device Circuit. A 3.9K Ohm End-of-Line Resistor (provided) terminates the end of the Style B or D (Class B or A) circuit (maximum IDC loop resistance is 25 Ohms). Install ELR across terminals 8 and 9 for Style D application.
